Dimitris Ktistakis je međunarodno priznati grčki dirigent i pedagog, posebno istaknut po izuzetnim dostignućima u oblasti horske muzike i izvođaštva. Kao osnivač i dirigent nagrađivanog ženskog hora InDONNAtiόn, ostvario je značajan međunarodni uspjeh osvojivši četiri zlatne medalje na prestižnim međunarodnim horskim takmičenjima u Kalamati, Krfu, Rigi i Fundãu, kao i prestižni Grand Prix 2018. godine - jedno od najznačajnijih međunarodnih priznanja koje je ikada dodijeljeno jednom grčkom horu.
Ktistakis je sarađivao sa istaknutim orkestrima, horovima i medijskim institucijama širom Evrope, uključujući Orkestar radija Sarland, Deutsche Welle, BR, NDR, SR i ERT. Njegova umjetnička djelatnost kao dirigenta, soliste i saradnika vodila ga je na koncertne scene Evrope, Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, Azije i Australije, gdje je izvodio standardni repertoar i svjetske premijere savremenih djela.
Doktorat iz horskog dirigovanja završio je na Ionian University sa jednoglasnim počastima. Kao priznanje za njegov umjetnički i naučni rad dirigovao je svjetskom premijerom Druge latinske mise kompozitora Nikolaos Halikiopoulos Mantzaros.
Pored međunarodne dirigentske karijere, Ktistakis je često pozivan kao član žirija na međunarodnim horskim takmičenjima, aktivno doprinoseći razvoju horske umjetnosti i muzičkog obrazovanja širom svijeta. Njegov rad značajno doprinosi međunarodnoj afirmaciji grčkog horskog izvođaštva i dirigovanja.
Dimitris Ktistakis is an internationally recognized Greek conductor and pedagogue, distinguished for his exceptional achievements in choral music and performance. As founder and conductor of the acclaimed female choir InDONNAtiόn, he has led the ensemble to major international success, winning four gold medals at prestigious choral competitions in Kalamata, Corfu, Riga, and Fundão, as well as the highly esteemed Grand Prix in 2018 - one of the most important international distinctions ever awarded to a Greek choir.
Ktistakis has collaborated with prominent orchestras, choirs, and broadcasting institutions across Europe, including the Saarland Radio Orchestra, Deutsche Welle, BR, NDR, SR, and ERT. His artistic activity as conductor, soloist, and accompanist has taken him to concert stages throughout Europe, the United States, Asia, and Australia, where he has presented both standard repertoire and world premieres of contemporary works.
He completed his Doctorate in Choral Conducting at the Ionian University with unanimous honors. In recognition of his scholarly and artistic excellence, he conducted the world premiere of the Second Latin Mass by Nikolaos Halikiopoulos Mantzaros.
In addition to his international conducting career, Ktistakis is frequently invited to serve as a jury member at international choral competitions, contributing actively to the development of choral artistry and music education worldwide. His work continues to strengthen the international presence of Greek choral performance and conducting excellence.
